These terms explain the service, your responsibilities, farming and AI safety, points, offers, and what happens if an account is closed.

Acceptance and eligibility

These Terms form an agreement between you and the legally responsible Namma Bhoomi operator. By creating an account or using the service after seeing these Terms, you agree to them. Optional permissions and consent for location, photos, microphone, AI processing, marketing or provider contact are requested separately.

If you do not agree, do not create an account or continue using the service. You may stop using it and request deletion. The service is for farmers aged 18 or older and is not intended for children.

You are responsible for accurate crop and request information and for activity under your account unless caused by our failure.

What Namma Bhoomi provides

Namma Bhoomi is an agricultural support service. It provides crop profiles, local weather, reminders, activity history, crop-photo observations, farming conversations, voice input, read-aloud answers, promotional points, and requests for contact about offers.

The service does not replace an agronomist, veterinarian, doctor, pesticide label, soil laboratory, government notice, emergency service, insurer, lender, lawyer or other qualified professional. It does not guarantee diagnosis, yield, income, savings, weather, price, availability or farming outcome.

Farming and AI safety

  • Automated answers and image observations can be incomplete, outdated or wrong.
  • Check crop identity, dosage, product label, compatibility, waiting period, protective equipment and local restrictions before acting.
  • Do not rely on the app alone for poisoning, serious plant disease, animal or human health, fire, flood, electrical danger or another emergency.
  • Weather is an external forecast and local conditions can differ.
  • Report a harmful or incorrect response through support.

Your content

You keep ownership of your original crop photos, questions, notes and other content. You give Namma Bhoomi a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, copy, process, transform and display that content only to provide, secure and support the service and for another specifically disclosed lawful improvement you choose. The licence ends when the content or account is deleted, subject to backup expiry and narrow legal retention.

Upload only content you have the right to use. Do not upload another person's private information, unlawful material, malware, misleading evidence or copyrighted material without permission. Crop photos are private by default and are not licensed for advertising or model training unless separately explained and accepted.

Acceptable use

Do not use Namma Bhoomi to:

  • Break the law, threaten, harm, defraud, impersonate or mislead anyone.
  • Use an account or mobile number without authority.
  • Access another farmer's records, bypass authentication, probe security, scrape private data or disrupt the service.
  • Upload malware or violate privacy or intellectual-property rights.
  • Manipulate photos, points, offers or contact requests.
  • Override safety controls, extract confidential instructions or use Talk outside its supported agricultural purpose.
  • Use automated or high-volume access without written permission.

We may proportionately rate-limit, block content, investigate, suspend or terminate use. We will provide notice and a support or appeal route where appropriate. Urgent safety or security threats may require immediate action.

Namma Bhoomi Points

Current rules award 100 points for onboarding and 10 points for each accepted useful photo. Rejected or unusable photos earn no points. Points are promotional only. They have no cash value and are not money, deposits, investments or property. They cannot currently be transferred or redeemed.

Duplicate, manipulated, fraudulent or reversed actions may be denied or corrected. Rules may change prospectively with reasonable notice. Account deletion or valid termination ends the balance. Any future redemption, reward, expiry, tax or partner rule will require separate published terms.

Offers and contact requests

Offers are curated by Namma Bhoomi and are not paid advertisements. An offer shows details before a request is made. Selecting “I'm interested” asks for follow-up. It is not a confirmed order, booking, purchase, price guarantee or appointment unless expressly stated. Provider, price or price-on-request, availability and offer-specific terms appear before submission.

Offers are for physical goods or services. You cannot pay in the app and can only request a follow-up. Your disclosed contact details may be used only for that request. An independent provider supplies the product or service under separate terms and is responsible for its quality and performance. Because the app does not take payment, payment, cancellation and refund terms are agreed directly with that provider. Displaying an offer is not an endorsement beyond a specific promise.

Third parties, ownership and feedback

The service depends on third-party sign-in, messaging, hosting, weather, AI, operating-system and offer services. Their links and services may have separate terms. Weather, crop catalog text, images, fonts, open-source software and other materials remain subject to their owners' licences and attribution.

The Namma Bhoomi name, Tamil name, logo, app, design, code and original materials belong to or are licensed to the operator. You receive a personal, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service. Do not copy, commercially reuse, frame or claim affiliation without permission. Send copyright or trademark concerns to the legal contact once published.

We may use voluntary product feedback to improve the service without payment, but this does not make private crop content or support complaints public or grant an unrestricted licence to them.

Availability, changes and termination

The service may be unavailable because of maintenance, connectivity, device or provider failure, or events outside reasonable control. Features, crops, languages, points and offers may change. Where practical, we will give 30 days' notice of a change that materially reduces your rights. If the service ends, we will aim to provide a reasonable export or deletion period where feasible.

We may suspend or close an account for security risk, unlawful use, serious breach or abuse. Immediate action may be taken for urgent threats. Closure can end access, content, pending offers and points. You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time. Narrow legal duties, backup expiry and clauses that must logically survive may continue.
