Namma Bhoomi helps farmers manage crop information, receive local weather, ask farming questions, review crop photos, set reminders, earn promotional points, and request contact about offers.
We use your mobile number to sign you in. If you choose a feature, we may also use your farm location, crop details, crop photos, questions, and voice. Camera, photo, microphone, and location access are optional. Refusing an optional permission only prevents the related feature from working.
You may request account deletion in the app. For privacy help or a web deletion request, use the contact route below.

We do not collect your contacts, unrelated photos, payment-card details, advertising ID, or location while the app is running in the background.

Android permissions

- Photo picker: select a specific photo without broad library access.
- Microphone: turn a spoken question into editable text.
- Location: save the farm location and show local weather. You can allow approximate or precise location. Location is not collected in the background.
- Audio playback: play a spoken version of an answer.

You can change permissions in Android settings. Turning one off stops the related feature but does not automatically delete information already saved.

Optional consent is separate from accepting the Terms. You may refuse or withdraw it. Withdrawal does not undo lawful processing already completed. Security, fraud prevention and legal duties may still require limited processing.

Questions, photos and related crop information may be used for product analytics and research after direct identifiers are permanently removed so the research copy cannot be linked back to a farmer. We do not sell personal data or use information for cross-app targeted advertising.

On our public website, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager help us understand visits and page use. These services may collect browser and device information, pages viewed, referring pages, approximate location derived from an IP address, and online identifiers. They may use cookies or similar technologies for this purpose.

A limited number of authorized employees may view identifiable photos, questions, conversations or crop information when necessary to provide support, operate the service, investigate security issues or prepare information for de-identification. Access is restricted to the work they are authorized to perform.

Automated and AI-assisted features

Automated tools help answer farming questions, examine submitted crop photos, transcribe voice and read answers aloud. Questions, selected recent conversation history, crop context and a submitted image may be processed by Microsoft Azure OpenAI. Temporary audio is sent only when cloud transcription is used. Answer text may be sent when you request spoken audio.

Automated answers can be incomplete or wrong and are not a guaranteed diagnosis. Check important decisions, labels, local restrictions and urgent crop or safety concerns with a qualified local expert. These tools do not make credit, insurance, employment, legal or similarly significant decisions about you.

Azure OpenAI processing takes place in the East US region. Microsoft does not use this submitted content to train its models.

Retention and deletion

Account, profile, crop, useful-photo, conversation, reminder and points information is generally kept while your account is active. Rejected photos are removed promptly. Temporary voice audio is deleted within 1 day. Crop-related data is retained for up to 3 years. An account that remains inactive for 1 year may be deleted. Offer requests, support records, security records and backups are kept only for as long as needed to provide the service, resolve a request, protect users, or comply with law.

You can request deletion from the app's Profile screen. If you cannot sign in, email info@infarmsys.in. Sessions are revoked, private crop media is removed, the sign-in account is deleted, and user-owned records are deleted. Final removal from isolated backups can take longer. A narrow legal hold may apply where required.

- Rejected photos are deleted immediately after assessment.
- Conversations, accepted photos, reminders and points are kept while the account is active, subject to the 3-year crop-data limit.
- Offer requests are kept while needed to fulfil the request and while the account is active.
- Support, grievance and security records are kept only while needed to resolve the matter or meet a legal obligation.
- Provider backups expire and are deleted within a maximum of 3 years.

- Ask for access to or a summary of your personal information.
- Correct your name and crop details in the app, or ask support to correct other data.
- Withdraw optional permission or consent.
- Delete your account and associated information through the app or support route.
- Ask what was shared and with whom, where the law provides this right.
- Raise a grievance, seek escalation, nominate another person where applicable, and complain to the competent Indian authority.

We may request only the information reasonably needed to verify your identity. We aim to respond to privacy and grievance requests within 7-10 days. You may delete individual photos and conversations in the app. You will not be penalized for making a privacy request.

Security and children

We use safeguards designed to protect your account and information. Crop photos are private, information is protected while it is sent, and access is limited to authorized people and service providers. No service can promise absolute security. Please contact support if you suspect that someone has misused your account.

Namma Bhoomi is for farmers aged 18 or older. It is not intended for children.

Changes, communications and contact

We may update this policy when the service, law or providers change. Material changes will be summarized here and, where practical, notified in the app, by SMS or through the registered mobile number before they take effect. Marketing permission is separate from service and legal notices.
